Giving AVG AntiVirus a Go
I started looking for antivirus software today. I typed in “top antivirus software” in Google and came across AVG Antivirus several times. I looked around and come across some technology forum and they recommended it has one of the best antivirus programs. So, I decided to try it out, it was free so I had nothing to lose. After about a month of using their software I saw a considerable difference in my computers performance. And, I saw a decrease in the number of pop ups by internet explorer. This is probably because my computer was infected with adware and my other antivirus software failed to pick it up. Well, now I have the choice of either staying with the free version of AVG or upgrading to a paid version. With the results I have seen so far, I am considering the upgrade. It would cost me $34.99 to upgrade, but on the other hand it would cost me over a thousand dollars to replace my computer if it gets trashed.
