rules of tennis game
Tennis is a sport that has been existing for centuries. It is believed that this game was first designed and played in Europe- by European Monks . Rackets and balls used during those times were of varied types. This game was extremely well-known amongst monks in monasteries in Europe. Although, was an instance when church was contemplating on banning this sport.
It was Major Walter C Wingfield who patented tennis equipment and rules of tennis game. Rules were almost similar as to rules of present rules for tennis. Patenting happened in same year when tennis courts began appearing in United States.
