5 Ways to Live Healthier, Longer Lives

If you are looking for ways to live healthier, longer lives, there are several things that you can do to improve the quality of your life.  For example, did you know that getting the right amount of sleep per night can actually add years to your life.  Think about how you feel after a night of no sleep.  You’re lethargic, tired, cranky and are unable to think clearly.  On top of that, if you fail to get the proper amount of sleep the following night, you are actually creating a sort of "sleep deficit".  If you continue to increase your sleep deficit, then you are depriving your body of the rest that it needs, which can make you more susceptible to catching colds, etc.  Additionally, make sure that you are getting plenty of exercise and eating healthy.  Every time you feel hungry, think about what you feel like eating versus what you SHOULD be eating.  It can make the world of difference and help you to curb some nasty eating habits that can cause you health problems down the line.
