It seems you can’t escape the tabloid magazines. Every store and grocery market you enter, they are right there staring you in the face. Celebrity pictures are plastered one every cover and on every newsstand. I try not to look at all of them, but I admit I even get sucked into the wonder of the celebrity lives and I can’t help but to take a peek. Often times, I even break down and buy a few magazines because the cover story intrigues me so much, and I just have to read the inside story. I don’t have a body piercing yet. There are several that I would like to have, but my parents keep telling me that I am too young. I keep reminding them that my friends have body piercings, and that their parents allowed them to get them. My parents keep reminding me that I may decide that I no longer want the piercings once I am a bit older. I guess that means that I have to wait until I am eighteen to get the piercings that I want. My boyfriend has put me on the task of finding a bunch of different cross tattoo designs. He really wants to put one on his arm. I just got the lecture of my life over the various types of backgrounds that can go into water color paintings! I think its called washes. Anyway, I was looking at some watercolor paintings for sale in a frame shop and the shop lady showed each individualone and how it had a different background wash. There were solid washes, and layered washes and gradient washes. Even pale washes and colored mixed washes. I have to tell you I have a new appreciation for water color artists and their skill and knowledge. I’m just thinking I should have gotten college credit with her enthusiastic lecture!

I have tons of old pictures that I am scanning into my computer and now I find that I can get digital photograph software the can help me to fix them up. I am still learning all the things I can do with it but one feature I like is that I colorize some of my black and white pictures. With the color ones I can get read of the red eye and even merge some of the people pictures with some of the landscape pictures. The more I learn to do the better I like this kind of program.
