There has been so many recent studies on the health benefits of vitamin d and what it can do for you. They found people should be getting between 1000 and 2000 units, everyday. It is important to be getting this because vitamin d can help protect against diseases like cancer. Some good sources of vitamin d are cod liver oil, salmon, tuna, eggs and cheese, and even the sunlight, just 15-20 minutes a couple times a week is good, and of course it never hurts to have a good vitamin supplement.
