Water like a desert
In areas with little Water or indeed rainfall, such as deserts like the Namib, Sahara and Makgadikgadi pans or even arctic wastes, which although at highly inhospitable temperatures, also have as little rainfall as deserts, we can see the effect low rainfall has on the environment. In dry environments dry river beds begin to crack and split because the ground is so dry! Animal habitats are limited and there is very minimal plant growth, this is all because everything needs water to grow and live. This includes us, humans need water too, we can see examples of the healthy glow that people have if they eat well and drink plenty of water!
